GETTING HERE
Kaipupu Point is the closest wildlife sanctuary to Picton and is an ideal half day activity. The sanctuary is separated from the port by a predator proof fence with public access via a 10 - 15 minute boat trip from Picton. The purpose built jetty and floating pontoon at Dolphin Bay offers easy access to the 2.7 km circular track. If you would prefer to visit the Sanctuary via kayak, then make sure to try our new kayak ramp which sits alongside the jetty. If you don’t have your own boat then there are a number of water taxi options to choose from. |
