Kaipupu Wildlife Sanctuary is not a safe haven for native flora and fauna unless all pests are kept off the Sanctuary. We currently have approximately 80 volunteers who are involved with pest control, general maintenance and now that we have new species arriving on Kaipupu Point monitoring. The volunteers are guided by our Pest Co-ordinator and a team of enthusiastic pest team leaders.
